Volunteers Program
At Epping Aged Care we are very appreciative of our wonderful volunteers who come in and spend time with residents. Even the smallest amount of time offered is valuable and volunteers can be individuals, couples, friends or families and of any age.
There are no contracts, minimum duration or frequency and continuation is based on your desire to do so.
Importantly our volunteers really enjoy the experience and find it very rewarding. In fact our golden rule is that you must have a great time! This is always helped if you participate in an activity that is related to a hobby or interest of yours but don’t worry; we have plenty of program ideas too!
Below is but a sample of activity concepts for you to consider:

The volunteer program provides you with all the help you need and care staff assist during the sessions to manage and encourage residents as required. We have lots of resources or you may prefer to use your own.
Our Public Liability Insurance covers volunteers but the law requires us to complete a Police Check for you (if you are aged over 18).
